Sewing...

I bought a sewing machine with my birthday money and have been sewing a few things. It is fun!! These are some fleece pants I made Greta. You can wear fleece over a cloth diaper at night and it holds in the wetness but breaths better than the "plastic" covers. I bought this remnant fleece to practice on before buying the nice thick fleece for the real thing. My first attempt was a success.

Here is the link if you would like to make some yourself.

Sugar cut out cookies

We made some sugar cookies. Greta had fun cutting them out and then decorating with sprinkles. She enjoyed eating the sprinkles also and Tess loved finding stray ones on the floor.

New Fluffy Mail

In the cloth diapering world, a baby wearing cloth diapers has a fluffy butt. And when you get cloth diapers in the mail, it is fluffy mail. A lady on etsy.com made this diaper for Tess. It is beautiful! The eagle, globe and anchor is embroidered on and I sent her a name tape from Grant's old uniforms. I love it!!!

No more pics mom...

Fun in the snow

We got some snow on Tuesday. Greta and I went out during Tess's morning nap and had some fun until Greta's hands got very cold. She insisted on taking off her mittens to eat the snow. And thanks again to my sister Sue for the super cute hat she knit.

Rainbow of Diapers

We started cloth diapering in October. I love it and Grant tolerates it. I discovered that we have a diaper in every color of the rainbow. We of course also have a ton of cute girly diapers too that I will share another day.

Christmas pics

This was another thing we attempted for Christmas cards. It was very messy but the girls loved it, of course.

Fall Leaves

We spent a morning in November playing (or in Tess's case, eating) in the leaves.
