The Great Circus Parade

The Great Circus Parade came back to Milwaukee after being gone for 6 years. We took the girls. It was fun and crazy how many people were down there. People save there spots for days beforehand.

Grant got the girls some ice cream bars. MESSY!!

New Park

Somebody recommended Konkel Park to me when I was asking about parks for Tess that didn't have sand or woodchips under them. So we checked it out. They have the playsets that are in the front park area. But this person told me that if you cross the bridge behind the baseball diamond you would find some more playsets. One of them was the perfect size for the girls. We will be spending lots of time there.

Where is the warm weather?

I miss hanging my diapers on the line. It is the end of July and is supposed to be hot.

Happy Golden Birthday, Greta!

Greta celebrated her golden birthday on July 3rd. She loved her Cinderella cake I made. I thought it looked pretty good since I'm not much of a baker.

Strawberry Picking

We went strawberry picking on Greta's birthday. Greta picked a lot of unripe ons and got bored very quickly.Tess spent the whole time eating the strawberries.

Botanical Gardens

We took our family pics here at the Botanical Gardens. And I got the idea to bring the girls in their tutus. They had fun running around.
Greta spent most of the time running away from me.

The weather wasn't really outside swimming weather. Luckily the place we stayed had an indoor pool that we spent a lot of time at.

WI Dells Pottery

Here are the first of many pics. I have so many that we are going to have to do this over many days. We went to a paint your own pottery place and had a blast.

Greta and Grant painted a penguin piggy bank.

Katie did a cookie jar with all 3 boy's handprints. It turned out really nice. I wish I had a pic of the finished product.

Weiss painted a pirate.

It was tricky painting Henri's hand and getting it on the cookie jar.

Grant wanted to finish the penguin off, so we got Greta a dinosaur magnet to paint.
