Enjoying the warm weather, finally

Finally getting some warm weather. The girls are enjoying being able to play outstide again. And Tess playing in the pool for the first time ever. She loved it.

Greta helped me wash my car. We got it very clean and she got very wet.

Mother's Day

The girls painted flower pots for grandma and nana for mother's day. Greta had a ton of fun and Tess kept trying to eat the paint. Then Greta helped me plant some flowers. Mom and Ellie, hope you enjoy them.

Easter Eggs

Dyeing eggs was a lot of fun this year. Greta was much more involved. Too bad she can't eat any of them but that leaves more for me. Yummm!! Can't wait until next year when Tess can help too. Greta got a little carried away and was grabbing eggs out of the dye. She had a blue hand for a few days.

Exhausted after playdate...

We have a playdate with friends every week and this particular day the girls were very tired and both fell asleep as soon as we left for home. Luckily we have about a 30min drive and the girls got a good quick nap in.

Happy 1st Birthday Tess!!

No camera

I sold my camera and am getting a new one. So no pics for a few more days. I will definitely have some birthday pics from Tess coming next week.

Cold visit to the zoo

Grant was away for the weekend and we both thought we saw something about a baby giraffe at the Milwaukee Zoo. So I packed up the girls and headed over. We have a zoo pass and love it. We have been to the zoo a ton over the last year and definitely gotten our moneys worth.

There was no baby giraffe but we still had a good time. Stuck to the buildings but this was the girls bundled up on the walks between them. We spent some time in the fish building. Tess liked that the best. Too dark to get any good pics though. :( Then we went to the monkey building. Greta had fun running around.

The gorilla was laying down right by the window.

And then we stopped on the way out to see the penguins swimming around. They loved this weather along with the polar bear.
